Safford has been recognized as a 'B' school by the Arizona Department of Education for the 2023-2024 school year!

The Safford K-8 Folklorico Los Huskies group brought vibrant energy and tradition to the Children's Museum over spring break! Their performance celebrated culture and community.

What a delight to meet up with this #TeamTUSD, Elena and Alexis Borboa, at the TUSD Governing Board meeting on March 4. With a strong, steady voice, Elena opened the meeting by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Elena is part of the PEEPS (Pima Early Education Program Scholarships) program at Safford, while Alexis is an Exceptional Education Teacher Aide for 6th, 7th and 8th grade classes at Safford. Alexis loves being on the same schedule as her daughter. Elena calls out after her mother as she leaves for work every day, "I love you, Mom!"
